Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw has been shortlisted for November's Barclays Women's Super League Player of the Month award.

The Jamaican finished the month with four league goals in as many appearances, as well as providing two assists across November.

City’s leading scorer last season with 31 goals in 30 games, Shaw is once again leading the charts for Gareth Taylor‘s side in 2023/24, with seven goals in eight matches in all competitions so far.

VOTE FOR BUNNY SHAW

An impressive month for the forward began when she set up Chloe Kelly in our 2-1 defeat to Arsenal at the beginning of November, but she’d take centre stage in the Manchester derby two weeks later.

After grabbing an assist for Lauren Hemp‘s incredible curling strike, the Jamaican’s tireless pressing paid off when she got a boot to Mary Earps’ clearance to complete a memorable 3-1 triumph over Manchester United.

It was just rewards for the forward after she’d led the line with distinction at Old Trafford.

She followed that convincing performance up with a first half hat-trick against Tottenham Hotspur, as City rounded off the month with a 7-0 victory at the Joie Stadium.

After heading home pinpoint crossed from Leila Ouahabi and Jill Roord, Shaw finished off Laia Aleixandri‘s pass with a clinical finish on the turn to put us out of sight, and ensure she took home another match ball.
