There's just one week to go until our crucial Women's Champions League quarter-final first leg with Chelsea at the Joie Stadium!

Nick Cushing’s side will welcome our Barclays Women’s Super League rivals to the Joie Stadium on Wednesday 19 March, with kick-off set for 20:00 (UK).

With tickets just £1 for kids under 16 (for all cup games), student’s tickets from £8 and adults from £13, it’s an affordable way to see some of the very best players in the world.

It’s our first Champions League knockout fixture since 2021, with a return leg then set for Thursday 27 March at Stamford Bridge.

Should we emerge as victors over the two legs, then City will face either FC Barcelona or VfL Wolfsburg in the semi-finals.

Two sides who have competed for top honours on a domestic front for over a decade will now face each other in Europe’s elite competition for the very first time.

Just goal difference separated the sides in the Barclays Women’s Super League title race last year, while City will also be looking to avenge a 2-0 WSL defeat to Chelsea in our only previous meeting this season back in 2024.

It promises to be a blockbuster occasion, coming just four days after the two teams lock horns in the Subway League Cup final at Pride Park.

Both sides will be looking to gain a foothold in our quest for the last four, but there’s also plenty of entertainment off the pitch as well.

Alongside our other pre-match and half-time activities, BBC Radio One DJ Sarah Story will also be at the Joie Stadium, performing a very special set ahead of kick-off.

Tickets are now on sale for the clash, with all the information available here.
