Manchester City’s Barclays Women’s Super League trip to Chelsea has been altered for live TV coverage in the United Kingdom.

The clash between the two title rivals will now kick-off at 19:15 (UK) on Friday 16 February and is to be broadcast on the BBC.

Gareth Taylor’s side last locked horns with the Londoners in October at the Joie Stadium.

During the league meeting, the hosts produced a heroic display to earn a 1-1 draw after we were reduced to nine players.

At present, the teams occupy first and second place in the league table with City sitting one place and three points behind Emma Hayes’ side.

In our last league outing, a sublime Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw hat-trick helped us to a fine 4-1 victory over Everton on Merseyside which represented our fourth straight WSL success.

Chelsea, meanwhile, have lost just one of their last eight league matches.

It’s certainly shaping up to be another enthralling instalment of this fixture and, as ever, it will also be detailed on the official Man City App.

Our Matchday Centre gets under way at 17:45 (UK) and provides analysis and stats as well as live audio and text commentary for every fixture.

Those with notifications turned on will also be alerted to all the key moments at Kingsmeadow, while you can also follow the action over on our dedicated matchday Twitter/X account: @ManCityWomen.

A detailed match report will also follow soon after the final whistle, as well as the thoughts of Gareth Taylor and a player.

Highlights and a CITY+ full-match replay can also be accessed from 12:00 (UK) on Saturday 17 February.
