City’s Barclays Women’s Super League match against Tottenham Hotspur at the Etihad Stadium has been chosen for live TV coverage in the United Kingdom.

The fixture is still set to get under way at 19:30 (UK) on Friday 8 November, but has now been confirmed as being live on Sky Sports.

It’s the first of three WSL matches that Gareth Taylor’s side are set to play at the Etihad this season, with further games against Manchester United in January and Chelsea in March.

Both teams have started the campaign in fine form, with four points each from their opening two fixtures this season.

City did the double over Spurs in the WSL in 2023/24 with a 7-0 win at the Joie Stadium in November followed by a 2-0 triumph at Brisbane Road.

We also locked horns in the League Cup quarter-finals, with Taylor’s side winning by a single goal, but the Lilywhites did edge past us on penalties en route to an appearance in the FA Cup final.

It promises to be another exciting showdown between the sides in November, with the official Man City app once again the best place for you to stay across all the action.

Our Matchday Centre, providing detailed text updates, stats and analysis will get under way at 18:00, with live audio commentary available from kick-off.

Those with push notifications turned on will also be alerted to all the key moments as they unfold, with a detail match report and reaction from the boss and players after the final whistle.

Highlights and a full-match replay, available on CITY+, can be accessed from 12:00 on Saturday 9 November.
