Manchester City will travel to Birmingham City in the quarter-final of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup.

We last faced the Blues in the Women’s Super League during the 2021/22 season, winning 6-0 at the Joie Stadium.

Our opponents currently sit second in WSL 2, with our latest clash set to take place over the weekend of 4/5 April.

City booked our spot in the final eight with a 4-0 win over Sheffield United, with Lauren Hemp netting two almost identical goals, followed by Aoba Fujino and Laura Coombs rounding off the victory in the second half.

It was a professional and dominant display from Andrée Jeglertz’s side heading into the international break, with City yet to concede in the competition this season.

City have won the famous competition three times in our history, most recently in 2020.

We reached last season’s semi-finals, before bowing out to Manchester United at the Joie Stadium.
