Wimbledon’s Plough Lane will host the showpiece clash on Saturday 5 March 2022 with kick-off scheduled for 17:15 UK time.
A showpiece event in the women’s football calendar, fans will be treated to another thrilling encounter between two top teams with all tickets now snapped up.
City are three-time winners of the trophy, having lifted the prestigious silverware in 2014, 2016 and 2019. This will be the first ever meeting between the two clubs in a domestic final, with holders Chelsea seeking a third success.
Kelly Simmons, Director of the Women’s Professional Game, said: “I am absolutely thrilled that the Final on Saturday is a sell out and I have absolutely no doubt that the players will put on a world class display for those in attendance.
“If there was one thing I’d ask of fans, its that you turn up ready to make as much noise as possible so those following at home can hear you through their TV or radio. Let’s create an atmosphere that really adds to the spectacle.”
The Final will be shown live on BBC Two, with coverage starting at 17:00pm (kick-off 17.15pm).
