Manchester City will take part in Group B of this season's FA Women's Continental Tyres League Cup.

It means Gareth Taylor‘s side will lock horns with fellow Barclays Women’s Super League sides Leicester City and Liverpool as well as Championship duo Blackburn Rovers and Sunderland.

We enter the competition as reigning champions, having overcome Chelsea to secure our fourth Conti Cup triumph in March 2022.

It means that only Arsenal can match our success, while we have won the most of any Club since we claimed our first trophy in 2014.

And our latest defence begins at the Academy Stadium on Wednesday 26 October against Blackburn Rovers.

Following the round robin format, the group stages will conclude on Sunday 18 December away to Leicester.

The teams who finish top in each of the five groups progress into the quarter-finals and will be joined by the best ranked runner up.

Chelsea’s progression to the UEFA Women’s Champions League group stages means they will enter the competition at the quarter-final stage, while Arsenal will follow suit should they progress through European qualification.
