The Scotland international goalkeeper has signed a three-year contract, which will keeper her at the Club until the summer of 2028, subject to international clearance.

She arrives at the Joie Stadium following a successful spell in Sweden with Rosengard after acquiring a wealth of experience in English football before her switch along the continent in 2023.

CHAMPIONS
Cumings played an integral part in Rosengardās triumphant 2024 Damallsvenskan season where they won the Swedish top-flight.
Our newest recruit played all 26 league games, in which her former employers won 25 of, while possessing a mean defensive record.
Throughout their assignments, Cumings conceded just nine goals and registered a staggering 18 clean sheets. Ā
FOOTBALL FRIENDS
During her time at Rosengard she played with current City defender Rebecca Knaak who represented the Malmo-based outfit between 2022 and 2024.
And Cumings revealed she had already spoken to the German defender about life at City, explaining: āI have been texting Beck [Knaak] s a wee bit, so she loves it here and Iām looking forward to seeing her soon. I think sheās really happy here.ā
INDIVIDUAL ACCOLADE
Thanks to her exploits across the 2024 Damallsvenskan season, Cumings was then named the divisionās Goalkeeper of the Year.

On average during the campaign, she conceded just 0.35 goals per game and her shot-stopping ability was crucial to their title-winning season.
OUTLOOK
Before her success in Sweden, Cumingsā life and career could have looked a lot different after picking up an injury while playing for Charlton.Ā
During a routine operation as a result, she a developed a blood condition called compartment syndrome and could have had both of her legs amputated.
In an interview with The Guardian, Cumings commented on the experience: āI had to have numerous surgeries to repair the injury and spent a good bit of time on crutches.
āNearly losing the opportunity to play football changed my outlook. Even if Iām just sitting on the bench, I still think thatās a huge achievement.ā
FAMILY AFFAIR
Cumings revealed that her love for football stemmed from her family when growing up playing with her dad, sisters and brother.
She told the Club: āIāve actually been a goalkeeper ever since like it was the first position I ever played, so itās like day one. I was a goalkeeper. Iāve got two big sisters who play a lot of football and my dadās really into it, so I was playing with them when I was very young.
āIāve been a keeper since I was like four or five I think it was always like the one for me.ā
UNIVERSITY
Alongside building a strong professional football career, Cumings continued to study in he her homeland of Scotland.

It was there where she studied ancient history at Edinburgh University!Ā
CUTTING IT FINE
Believe it or not, Cumings hadnāt ever visited a hairdresser until last year. Up until that point she explained her mum would be in charge of providing her haircuts!
GROWING UP
Cumingās home of Edinburgh is a great footballing city with historic Scottish clubs Hearts and Hibs inhibiting it.
And our new goalkeeper says she was a fan of the latter growing up with their home stadium of Easter Road round the corner from her family house.
She told Charlton in 2022: āI grew up in Edinburgh about 10 minute walk away from Hibsā stadium, I was a Hibs fan growing up but I played for Spartans, that was my local team, and Hibs Women were our rivals so I was a Hibs menās fan but definitely not a Hibs womenās fan.āĀ
INTERNATIONAL STAGE
After progressing through Scotlandās youth system, Cumings was called into the senior squad for the first time in May 2021.
She then made her bow for the first-team at the 2022 Pinatar Cup where she kept a clean sheet in a 0-0 draw with Hungary before she made a penalty-winning save in a 3-1 shootout win.
GREAT OUTDOORS
During Cumingsā childhood she explained how she enjoyed playing outside and among trees, so much so that she wanted to become a tree surgeon if her footballing career didnāt work out.Ā
She told Charlton in 2022: āI used to want to be a tree surgeon, Iām not sure if I wouldāve followed through on that. But I remember that was the first job I wanted to do.
āWhen I was a child I was pretty active, I used to really enjoy climbing trees and running around. I was pretty into trees growing up, I got an axe for my fifth birthday and I used to love chopping down and climbing trees.
āI wouldnāt go to bed unless I had plank of 4x4 in my bed.ā
