The goalkeeper is set to move on to pastures new ahead of the 2024/25 campaign after nine years on the books at the Club.
Roebuck went on to make more appearances than any other goalkeeper during City’s professional era, with her 62 clean sheets in all competitions bettered only by Karen Bardsley.
And while she’s excited to see what the future holds in her career, her time at the Club will always be something she looks back on fondly.
She explained: “Obviously it’s a strange feeling. This has been my home for the past nine years, I’ve not known any different to be honest with you.
“I’m obviously excited for a new challenge, but I’m pretty sad because it’s all I’ve known for the past however long.
“I’ve met so many great people along the way and it’s going to be really different and strange come next season.

“Obviously with the past year, my perspective has changed quite a lot in numerous things. I feel like I’ve achieved what I’ve wanted to achieve here, and I’ve enjoyed every second of it.
“For me, it just feels like the right time personally, not just football-wise but to take that next step and have a bit of a lifestyle change.
“[I want to] go and learn something new and experience something different. There was probably never going to be a perfect time [to leave], but I think now I’m ready for it.”
Roebuck joined the Club and moved to Manchester as a 15-year-old, going on to make her senior debut on the final day of the 2016 WSL season.
It means that, our 2014 Continental Cup success aside, the goalkeeper has witnessed every success that we’ve managed to achieve during our professional era.
And those early years, where Roebuck joined a squad who were set to go the embark on an unbeaten 2016 WSL title-winning campaign, are something the stopper will never forget.
Indeed, watching those team-mates transform from idols to her close friends is a particularly special feeling for the 24-year-old.
“Thinking back now, I just remember how scared I was coming in,” she admits.
“There were so many massive personalities. It was actually just off the back of the 2015 World Cup, so I remember coming in and being starstruck.
“There were so many big names and now thankfully nine years later I can call them my friends. Incredible to be part of something special from the start.
“Along the way I think the football speaks for itself, I’ve loved every second of that. I’m so grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given.
“The people I’ve met, the coaches I’ve managed to work with, it’s been amazing.”
