Teammates on the pitch and close friends off it, Janine Beckie and Ellie Roebuck share a close bond.
Born in Colorado and Sheffield respectively, the pair have spent the last few years in Manchester with City, sharing many happy memories, and now call the city their home.

Both Beckie and Roebuck (the goalkeeper celebrating her 22nd birthday today) stars enjoyed an unforgettable summer, jetting off to Japan to take part in the Olympic Games.
Beckie clinched an historic gold medal with Canada, while Roebuck competed in her first major senior international tournament with Team GB.
Now back on Club duty with City, the duo are hoping to achieve more success with Gareth Taylor‘s side.
