Four of City’s England internationals could take home the BBC Sports Personality Team of the Year award at the famous ceremony on Thursday 18 December.

Khiara Keating, Alex Greenwood, Lauren Hemp and Grace Clinton were all part of the Lionesses side who retained their title as European Champions this summer.

Former City stars Jess Park, Chloe Kelly, Lucy Bronze, Keira Walsh, Georgia Stanway, Esme Morgan and Ella Toone were also part of Sarina Wiegman’s squad in Switzerland.

Having won their nations first major honour since 1966 three summers ago, the Lionesses went one better in their defence of the crown, becoming the first England side to claim silverware on foreign soil.

VOTE FOR THE LIONESSES

Dramatic late goals against Sweden and Italy helped the Lionesses reach the final, which they won thanks to a 3-1 penalty shootout win over Spain.

England are up against the Red Roses – 2025 Rugby World Cup Champions – and the victorious European Ryder Cup team.

The vote will close as announced during the BBC Sports Personality of the Year TV show on BBC One on 18 December 2025.

Votes are limited to one per registered user. Voting on different devices will count towards this limit.

You can watch Sports Personality of the Year Show on BBC One, BBC iPlayer and on the BBC Sport website and app.
