Ellie Roebuck, Lucy Bronze, Alex GreenwoodDemi Stokes, Lauren Hemp, Chloe Kelly, Georgia Stanway, Keira Walsh, Ellen White have all been selected in the Lionesses’ squad, as have Jill Scott and Karen Bardsley, who are currently on loan at Everton and OL Reign.

Captain Steph Houghton misses out with an Achilles injury that has sidelined the defender since City’s 1-0 win over Everton - her 200th appearance for the Club.

Led by newly-appointed assistant coach Hege Riise, the Lionesses face France and Canada next month.

The trip to Caen takes place at the Stade Michel d’Ornano on Friday 9 April at 20:10 (UK time) with the game broadcast live on BBC Four.

The Lionesses then host Canada at the Bet365 Stadium in Stoke on Tuesday 13 April, kicking off at 19:15 (UK time).

The second fixture - also live on BBC Four - will see the City contingent will line up against Club teammate Janine Beckie.

City are next in action on Wednesday afternoon, hosting Barcelona in the UEFA Women’s Champions League quarter-final second leg.
