In their first competitive action for almost a year, England will play two friendlies against Northern Ireland and Canada in the coming months.

The game against Northern Ireland will take place on Tuesday 23 February in a 12:30pm kick-off, behind-closed-doors at St George’s Park. Fans can tune in via the BBC iPlayer and Red Button.

The visit of Canada is scheduled for Tuesday 13 April with the venue and kick-off time still to be confirmed.

England last faced Canada in a World Cup warm-up match at the Academy Stadium back in April 2019.

City are next in action on Friday night with an eagerly-awaited Manchester Derby, as Gareth Taylor‘s side look to leapfrog Manchester United in the FA Women’s Super League table as the title race heats up.

Only the second professional home league Derby, the clash kicks-off at 19:00 (UK time) on Friday 7 February at the Academy Stadium.
