Manchester City’s goalkeeper was selected in Lydia Bedford’s starting XI who prevailed in the friendly tournament thanks to goals from Isobel Goodwin, Hannah Silcock and Olivia McLoughlin.
Meanwhile, Gracie Prior was an unused substitute in Spain.
Keating was making back-to-back starts after playing the entirety of England U23’s 1-0 win over the Netherlands in the semi-finals.
Sweden, meanwhile, beat Norway in the last-four stage to set up the final with the Young Lionesses.
And it was England who made the perfect start, scoring twice inside 11 minutes at Estadio Nueva Condomina, when Goodwin slammed a vicious effort into the net before Silcock headed home at a corner.
Sweden then pushed for a way back into the final, but Keating was on hand to make a strong save to deny Maja Bodin’s stinging drive from just inside the area.
Following the interval, McLoughlin’s goal rounded off the scoring with a first-time finish from Lenna Gunning-Williams’ cross.
Many congratulations to Khiara and Gracie for winning the European Competition final!
