Lucy Bronze and Jill Scott, both set to leave City this summer, have also been selected.

Goalkeeper Roebuck has played eight times for England, with a further four appearances for Great Britain at Tokyo 2020. After missing the start of the 2021/22 season through injury, she played 17 times in all competitions.

Defenders Greenwood and Stokes are vastly experienced, with 99 England caps between them. Both played in the last edition of the tournament in 2017, when England reached the semi-final stage. They come into the tournament after strong seasons with City, in which they played 36 and 33 times respectively.

Midfielder Walsh has 39 caps for England including tournament experience at the 2019 World Cup and with Great Britain in Tokyo. The Rochdale-born 25-year-old played 28 times for City in all competitions in 2021/22.

Hemp and Kelly will be hoping to make a mark on their first tournament in England colours while the experienced White has already played in seven major tournaments across World Cups, European Championships and Olympics.

Hemp will be raring to go after winning City’s Player of the Year award for 2021/22 and the PFA Young Player of the Year for the fourth time. Kelly returned from injury in April after almost 12 months on the sidelines while White featured 34 times across the season for City.
