The best pictures from a special International Women’s Day event at Feel Good Club.

In February, Manchester City launched our ‘Feel Good City’ collaboration with local Manchester business Feel Good Club, with the aim of highlighting the benefits of football on your physical and mental health.

As part of these celebrations, influential female figures at the Club were invited to Feel Good Club’s cafe in Northern Quarter, Manchester for a panel discussion.

The panel, comprised of Manchester City Women’s Managing Director Charlotte O’Neill, Girls Academy Manager Karen Bardsley, Director of Product Heather Leigh and CITC Community Outreach Officer Georgia Dickinson, began by sharing their personal experiences in the industry.

But the conversation delved more deeply into the issues that women continue to face in the sports industry as well as outlining ambitions for the Club’s girls’ Academy in the future.

It was a candid and inspirational discussion, capping off a memorable event.

All ticket proceeds went to Manchester City’s official charity, City in the Community, to help support its City Girls Programme, a project that engages female participants with free football training, leadership and mentoring opportunities.
