On Gareth Taylor’s 50th birthday, we take a look back at some of his most memorable City moments.

Our Women’s manager first joined the Club as a player in November 1998 and went on to make 55 appearances in sky blue until departing in 2001 – scoring 10 goals.

He then returned to City as a coach in 2011, before being appointed as Academy manager in 2017.

Having previously overseen the Club’s Under-16s, he then led City’s Under-18s for three seasons, helping to develop the fledgling careers of many young players and guiding the team to successive Premier League U18 Cup victories in 2019 and 2020.

Taylor then took up the role of City Women head coach in May 2020, and has since overseen an FA Cup win (2021), a Continental Cup triumph (2022) and guided us into the UEFA Champions League.
