We travel to Walton Hall Park to face Everton on Sunday 17 December, with kick-off set for 13:00 (UK) in our final match before the winter break.
After the Toffees, City’s next WSL clash isn’t until 21 January, when we face their Merseyside rivals, Liverpool, at the Joie Stadium.
Taylor’s side find ourselves three points off the WSL summit but, with over a third of the season already gone, the boss insists there can be no slip-ups.
“Each point, whether it’s three points, no points or one point, is significant in this league,” he said ahead of our trip to Everton.
“There are only 22 games and up to last weekend, you have to take your hat off to what Chelsea had done, 22 points out of 24 after eight games is phenomenal and one of the reasons they’ve been up there so long as a club.
“One game changes everything. It could be a big swing, we’ve worked hard to get to where we are and we want to maintain that.
“That’s the message to the players and everyone. Everyone’s trying to win.”
The boss also provided a positive update on the shape of the City squad ahead of our final match of 2023.
Taylor revealed that a decision was yet to be made on Alanna Kennedy, who was forced off at half-time due to an achilles issue in our 2-1 win over Aston Villa.
However, the boss was generally satisfied with the options at his disposal ahead of our trip to Merseyside.

He added: “The squad is in a good place. We’ve had a couple of niggles, little illnesses here or there but in general availability is pretty good.
“We’ll wait longer to see how Alanna checks in, we had to make a change against Aston Villa.
“The players are looking good and fresh considering the international breaks.
“We’ve got ourselves in a good position and want to finish strong, stay in touching distance and mount a challenge.”
