Gareth Taylor has been shortlisted for November's Barclays Women's Super League Manager of the Month award.

The boss oversaw a perfect month for City, continuing our impressive recent run of form.

Victories away to Reading and Everton ensured maintained our push towards the WSL summit.

Coupled with a win over Sunderland in the Continental Cup, City have claimed victory in each of our last seven matches in all competitions, a run which stretches back to the beginning of October.

The month began with a 3-0 triumph over Reading, in which Taylor’s side enjoyed 77% possession as well as 19 attempts on the hosts’ goal.

City had to dig deep to grind out a 2-1 win over Everton in our following match, but goals from Julie Blakstad and Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw saw us over the line on Merseyside.

The boss is up for the award alongside Aston Villa’s Carla Ward and Chelsea’s Emma Hayes, as well as assistant Denise Reddy.
