The boss collected February’s award and was in contention for January’s – meaning his latest inclusion in the shortlist is his third in succession.
Under his stewardship, City maintained an 100% record in the league in March which helped us to the division’s summit.
Across our WSL assignments last month, we scored 13 goals and only conceded four.
We started the month with a hard fought 2-1 victory over Everton thanks to goals from Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw and Lauren Hemp before suffering narrow cup defeats to Chelsea and Spurs.
However, we responded perfectly to the disappointment by producing a superb display at Brighton to record a 4-1 victory in West Sussex.
The Blues then followed up the fine success over the Seagulls with a strong 3-1 win over Manchester United in front of over 40,000 supporters at the Etihad Stadium.
Jess Park lit the sky blue touch paper by breaking the deadlock with a well-taken volley before the England international doubled our lead before half-time with a poked finish from close range.
The hosts continued our electric momentum into the second half by extending our advantage further as Bunny became the Club’s all-time leading women’s scorer when breaking into the box and colly slotting home.
City then closed off another fine month with a clinical 4-1 win over Liverpool at Prenton Park which moved us to the top of the league table – albeit having played a game extra than second-placed Chelsea.
Taylor is shortlisted alongside Liverpool’s Matt Beard, Brighton’s Mikey Harris and Chelsea’s Emma Hayes.
Voting closes on Monday 8 April at 10:00 (UK) – choose Taylor for Manager of the Month here.
