City duo Alanna Kennedy and Hayley Raso have both been named in the Australian squad for the forthcoming AFC Women’s Asian Cup tournament.
The duo have been selected a part of a 25-strong travelling squad by Matildas’ head coach Tony Gustavsson which will gather for a training camp in Dubai next week.
A final squad of 23, which will feature Kennedy and Raso, will then travel out to the tournament which will be staged in India.
Australia are pitted in Group B at the Asian Cup and will play Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand on January 21, January 24 and January 27 respectively.
