Anticipation is high for the Barclays Women’s Super League clash which sees fourth placed City host Arsenal, who currently sit in third.
Given it is the first match of the weekend, a victory for either side would see them move level with second placed Manchester United.
After defeat at Arsenal in the Continental Cup semi-final on Wednesday evening, we will be looking for a response against Jonas Eidevall’s team.
And winger Raso believes the supporters have a role to play.
“When it’s going well you obviously hear them but if you’re ever down too, you know you’ve got the support of the fans behind you spurring you on,” she said.
“It drives us and does help us a lot and we love that they’re out there supporting us. Selling out the stadium and knowing the fans are right behind you is an incredible feeling.
Raso is one of three Australian internationals in the City squad, alongside Mary Fowler and Alanna Kennedy.
Kennedy has been absent for much of the 2022/23 season so far through injury but returned to full fitness in December.
While the defender will require medical attention ahead of Saturday after being substituted late on in Wednesday’s meeting, Raso is delighted to see her back in contention.

“She’s a really good mate of mine so it’s great to have her back,” said Raso.
“She had a few niggles here and there and then hurt her shoulder pretty bad, so it’s really nice to see her back training with us and playing really well on the pitch. She’s an incredible player and I’m really pleased for her.
“She’s brought a lot. Her leadership qualities are great, she has a lot of experience obviously playing a lot for the national team and at club level. She gets stuck in, she works hard and can play a great ball. She’s great to play with and we’re all very happy that she’s back in the team.”
