City duo Mary Fowler and Hayley Raso both started as Australia overcame South Africa 4-1 in a friendly international.
Raso played the full 90 minutes while Fowler figured for 83 minutes in the game which was staged at Chelsea’s Kingsmeadow ground.
A brace from Cortney Vine inside 24 minutes got the Matildas off to a flying start with Clare Polkinghorne adding a third just before the break.
Caitlin Foord further extended Australia’s advantage eight minutes after the restart before Hildah Magaia then claimed a consolation strike for South Africa seven minutes from time.
Australia are next in action on Tuesday when they play Denmark in another friendly.
