Jess Park has been named Etihad Player of the Month for September.

The midfielder enjoyed a phenomenal start to the 2024/25 campaign and was central to a memorable first month for Gareth Taylor‘s side.

Park fought off competition from Ayaka Yamashita and Vivianne Miedema to claim September’s prize, with around 6,000 votes cast.

City went unbeaten across September in all competitions, winning three and drawing one of our four encounters.

We began the season with a 5-0 UEFA Champions League victory over Paris FC with Park grabbing two goals and one assist in the French capital.

She followed that up with a stunning strike in our WSL opener against Arsenal, finding the net from distance with an unstoppable half volley at the Emirates Stadium.

We would end up drawing 2-2 with the Gunners on the day, but Park’s typically energetic display was pivotal in us securing a well-earned point.

The England international followed that up by helping City secure qualification for the Champions League group stages, playing 45 minutes of our 3-0 second leg win over Paris FC at the Joie Stadium.

And she rounded off September with another commanding performance from the engine room as City edged out Brighton 1-0 in our first home fixture of the WSL season.

Congratulations to Jess on being named September’s Etihad Player of the Month.
