Manchester City can confirm that Jess Park has left England's training camp and returned to the Club for rehabilitation on her shoulder injury.

The forward had been on standby for the Lionesses ahead of this summer’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

However, she has now withdrawn from Sarina Wiegman’s side to continue her recovery from a shoulder injury sustained toward the end of the 2022/23 campaign.

Park had enjoyed a hugely successful loan spell at fellow Barclays Women’s Super League side Everton prior to that setback, grabbing three goals and four assists as the Toffees finished sixth.

The 21-year-old made her England debut in November 2022, rounding off the scoring having come off the bench as a late substitute in a 4-0 friendly win over Japan.

In total, she’s made 57 appearances for City, scoring nine goals and winning the Club’s 2021/22 Rising Star award.
