Manchester City can confirm that midfielder Jill Scott has joined Aston Villa on loan for the remainder of the 2021/22 Barclays FA Women’s Super League season.

The 34-year-old has been on the books of the Club for the past eight-and-a-half years, making just short of 200 appearances in all competitions to date and helping City to three Women’s FA Cups, three Continental Tyres Cups and one Women’s Super League title.

The England international will now link up with Carla Ward’s Villa side until the conclusion of the current campaign.
