Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw bagged a brace and an assist, as Jamaica clinched their place at the 2023 World Cup.

The City forward captained her side to a 4-0 victory over Haiti in their final CONCACAF Group A clash with an influential display, netting twice in the second half as the Reggae Girlz earned back-to-back qualifications.

Trudi Carter broke the deadlock in Mexico midway through the first half, latching onto Shaw’s through-ball and drilling into the far post.

Shaw extended the advantage just before the hour mark, playing a one-two with Havana Solaun, driving forward and unleashing a low drive past Nahomie Ambroise from outside the box.

The City star then doubled her personal tally from the penalty spot, after Clare Constant’s handball, smashing expertly beyond Ambroise’s grasp.

The victory was sealed with 11 minutes to go when Drew Spence planted a looping header into the back of the net from Carter’s pinpoint delivery.

The victory also ensured progression to the CONCACAF semi-finals, where Jamaica will face Olympic gold medallists Canada on Friday 15 July (03:00 UK time).
