In what was only her third senior appearance for Gareth Taylor’s side, the 17-year-old came from the bench to strike on the cusp of full-time when expertly drilling home Bunny’s cut-back.
It was certainly a moment for Dahou and City to savour on a memorable afternoon which saw Shaw score four goals alongside a Filippa Angeldahl screamer and a Julie Blakstad brace.
While the Jamaican raised her tally to 21 goals in 20 appearances in all competitions with the quadruple, she expressed her elation for our Academy graduate at full-time.
“We’ve been joking around with her [Jemima Dahou] because she’s been working hard with us over the break with the ones who stayed back,” Shaw said.
“You can see her effort and her willingness to work for the team is good. I’m delighted for her to get a goal today.”

And, after claiming the match ball against the Vixens, Bunny believes our consistency has been key in reclaiming a place in the title race, but believes we need to sustain our standards as we fight on two fronts.
She added: “I think it’s about staying consistent and wanting to go out in every game and giving a professional performance.
“I think we have been playing pretty well in the last few games.
“No [I don’t know where to put the match ball at home] but it’s something I can think about!
“I try to help the team as much as I can and they’re putting the ball in the box and I just try to put it in the back of the net and scoring.”
