The Jamaican has been in scintillating form across the entire 2022/23 campaign, netting 17 goals in 19 appearances in all competitions, while leading the Barclay’s Women’s Super League scoring charts with 10.
And throughout January she scored five goals in as many games as Gareth Taylor’s side strongly returned from the winter break.
The 25-year-old began the month by bagging the crucial winner in our 1-0 victory at West Ham United when she latched on to a well-timed Deyna Castellanos through ball to calmly round the goalkeeper and tuck home.
Away from the league, she also scored in our 6-0 Continental Cup quarter-final victory over Bristol City before bagging an impressive hat-trick in our 7-0 FA Cup success over Sheffield United at the Academy Stadium.
Bunny has fended off competition from Everton duo Jess Park (on loan from City) and Gabby George, Manchester United pair Maya Le Tissier and Ona Batlle and Aston Villa’s Kenza Dali for the prize.
And her recognition from the PFA means it’s back-to-back trophies within Taylor’s squad after Laura Coombs won the December award.
Congratulations, Bunny!
