Khiara Keating took part in a different kind of game straight after City's WSL win over Everton...

The goalkeeper played the full 90 minutes at Walton Hall Park as City signed off for 2023 with a 4-1 win in the Barclays Women’s Super League.

A hat-trick from Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw and impressive Jill Roord strike sealed an important win that saw us move up to second in the table.

Gareth Taylor‘s side broke off for the winter break following the win, with our next competitive fixture seeing us face Durham in the FA Cup on Sunday 14 January.

But while Keating and her team-mates would be forgiven for enjoying a well-earned rest after the game, our goalkeeper was straight back onto the pitch for a kickabout with her family.

Still wearing her City kit from our win over the Toffees, the England international took part in some light-hearted mini games before making the short journey back from Merseyside.

Keen to show off her street skills, Keating allowed our photographers to capture the kickabout, before posing for a family photo once they’d had enough!
