And Aleixandri is relishing the opportunity to once again lock horns with Manchester United but is well aware of our opponents’ threat.
“I can’t wait,” she declared.
“I think it’s going to be very special for the team. Go again with the team, play there in the Etihad Stadium with the fans is going to be amazing for sure and hopefully we can win the three points.
“In these games we are going to experience difficult moments as a team because they are good, top teams, so we need to know how to manage these moments and come through them.
“We are ready to compete in these type of matches.”
A record 44,259 supporters attended last season’s WSL clash at the Etihad where the teams played out an exciting 1-1 draw thanks to Laura Coombs’ second-half equaliser.

She added: “I think it’s possible [to break the record crowd] because our fans are very important for us.
“I can’t wait to see the Etihad so loud. Hopefully we can break this record.”
