Laura Coombs is set to make her 100th City appearance in our Barclays Women's Super League fixture with Everton.

The midfielder has been named in Gareth Taylor‘s starting lineup for our meeting with the Toffees on Sunday 17 December at Walton Hall Park in what is our final assignment of 2023.

Coombs moved to the Academy Stadium from Liverpool in the summer of 2019 and has gone on to help Gareth Taylor’s side win the FA Cup and Continental Cup across her 79 appearances thus far.

A hugely popular member of the squad, the 32-year-old’s intelligence and versatility have made her a crucial asset for City across her three-and-a-half seasons at the Club.

Those qualities were exemplified by the midfielder claiming December’s PFA Fans’ Player of the Month award; a month in which she grabbed the all-important equaliser in front of a Club record 44,259 supporters in our 1-1 draw with Manchester United.

She then extending her stay at the Joie Stadium for a further two seasons in July before starring at the 2023 Women’s World Cup for England where she made her major tournament bow.

And today, she’s set to reach a century of outings in sky blue.

With this in mind, we’ve gathered some of the best images from her time at City to date below…
