Lauren Hemp and Nick Cushing have been nominated in the Barclays FA Women's Super League end of season awards.

Hemp has been shortlisted for the Player of the Season gong, while Nick Cushing has been named in the Manager of the Season category.

One of the stars of City’s season, youngster Hemp enjoyed a superb campaign, contributing with goals and assists, including two crucial strikes against Arsenal and Chelsea.

Her impressive displays also earned a first England cap, as she made her senior international bow in October.

New recruit Chloe Kelly was also nominated for her fantastic season with Everton.

Meanwhile, Cushing departed for pastures new with a switch to New York City FC in February but left the team in an excellent position in the FA Women’s Super League and FA Women’s Cup.

His departure called time on a trophy-laden, six-year spell as manager.
