Gallery: Ouahabi’s City story so far

Leila Ouahabi has signed a contract extension at Manchester City, keeping her at the Club until the 2026.

A summer 2022 signing from Barcelona, the Spain international arrived at the Joie Stadium with a sparkling domestic and European track record.

During her time with the Spanish giants, she won the Champions League in 2021 and five Primera Division titles and her switch to Gareth Taylor’s side represented her first taste of English football.

Since then, she has totalled 37 appearances for City and registered three assists in the process.

The versatile defender has also featured in a swathe of key matches since joining the Club, including Manchester derbies at both the Etihad Stadium and Old Trafford.

But having committed her future to the Club for a further two years, the best is surely yet to come from Ouahabi.
