In his pre-match press conference the boss said that he and the team are braced for a difficult assignment on Merseyside, with the entire squad working hard on the training pitch to ensure we’re in peak condition ahead of Wednesday’s showdown.
City are hoping to bounce back from our first defeat of the 2023/24 campaign following a slender 2-1 defeat to Arsenal.
