Lucy Bronze has withdrawn from England’s September training camp.
The defender, who rejoined City this summer from Lyon, picked up an injury in Sunday’s WSL match against Brighton and will will now return to the CFA.
Isobel Christiansen has been called up to Phil Neville’s 30-player squad, joining her England teammates at St. George’s Park today for their first training session.
The Lionesses will play an 11 v 11 training game at their Burton base on Friday 18th September which will be broadcast live on the FA Player for subscribers.
Ten City stars remain in the England squad, with Ellie Roebuck, Steph Houghton, Demi Stokes, Jill Scott, Keira Walsh, Georgia Stanway, Chloe Kelly, Ellen White, Esme Morgan and Alex Greenwood all involved.
