Manchester City have won the Adobe Women's FA Cup for the fourth time in our history.

The Blues sealed the famous trophy for the first time since 2020 with a 4-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion.

City took the lead late on in an evenly-contested opening 45 when Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw beat Chiamaka Nnadozie to a teasing cross and headed home.

Alex Greenwood then made it two in first half stoppage time with a free-kick to hand Andrée Jeglertz’s side a healthy cushion at the break.

And the Blues went on to take control, with Aoba Fujino firing home a third from the bench just after the hour mark.

Brighton goalkeeper Nnadozie made two more fine saves late on to deny Shaw and Fujino as City turned the screw, but a fourth would follow.

It came from Vivianne Miedema, who headed home Kerstin Casparij’s cross to set the seal on a memorable win.

The victory ensured City rounded off the 2025/26 campaign with a first-ever WSL and FA Cup double, and the players deservedly soaked up the acclaim at Wembley.
