David James, Laura Bassett and Paul Dickov will all feature in our Matchday Live show as we face Chelsea in our first home game of the season.

We will welcome Emma Hayes’ side to the Joie Stadium on Sunday 8 October, with kick-off scheduled for 12:30 (UK).

The trio of guests will be joining Natalie Pike in the City Studio to provide City-centric analysis before, during and after the game.

And in what is expected to be one of the most exciting games of the season – in front of a sell-out crowd – Gareth Taylor’s side will be looking to extend our winning form following a 2-0 win over West Ham United on the opening day of the campaign.

Our Matchday Live show will begin at approximately 11:30 (UK) – as the team news comes in.

If you want to immerse yourself in more City content before then, our Matchday Centre will begin at 11:00 (UK) with pre-match build-up followed by minute-by-minute text updates to guide you through proceedings.

During the game, you can also listen to live audio commentary from Chris Sharples and Neil Lennon while our text commentary continues.

Afterwards, we will bring you all the reaction to the match on mancity.com and on the app.
