Presented by Revolut, the Blues outing at the Etihad against Sonia Bompastor’s side will be our final there in 2023/24 following a victory over Spurs and a narrow defeat to Manchester United.
The fixture will also represent the second time the sides have locked horns this term, with the Blues falling to a narrow 2-0 loss in November’s reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge.
However, City are unbeaten in our past two WSL matches with Chelsea at home after recording a memorable victory in 2022/23 and a heroic draw last term.
Goals from Filippa Angeldahl and Lauren Hemp helped us to a 2-0 victory in March 2023 before drama followed seven months later.

In what was our first home match in 2023/24, Chloe Kelly lit the blue touch paper in the seventh minute when slamming home from the edge of the box to give us a deserved lead.
We continued to threaten in attack, but Alex Greenwood was sent off on 38 minutes after receiving two yellow cards.
Regardless of having a player less, the hosts continued to impress but our task was made harder when Hemp received a second caution and we were reduced to nine.
A valiant defensive display followed, but Guro Reiten equalised in the sixth minute of added time to earn a share of the spoils for the Londoners.
Although the WSL champions won’t be crowned in our next meeting with Chelsea, a positive result for Taylor’s team could hugely help us in our quest for a second top-flight title.
