The first event on Friday evening featured a Q&A, hosted by City presenter Natalie Pike, with special guests and City legends Steph Houghton and Izzy Christiansen.
Their conversation highlighted their success stories and inspirational women in their lives.
The collaboration culminated with the City x Buy Women Built event at Diecast on Saturday aimed to use International Women’s Day as a catalyst to inspire the next generation of founders and footballers.

The event featured panels hosted by former City Studios presenter Nicola McCarthy with Houghton, former City goalkeeper Karen Bardsley and Buy Women Built founders.
There were activities provided by Buy Women Built brands alongside networking spaces to meet female founders. All attendees received goodie bags with items from Buy Women Built brands.
