On the agenda today was intense work with tennis balls which boost agility and further strengthens the strong bonds we have within the squad.
City will certainly need to be at our best to claim three points over the Toffees following our hard-fought 2-1 victory over Brian Sorensen’s in the reverse fixture in November.
Julie Blakstad gave us the lead in the 32nd minute before Rikke Sevecke equalised for the hosts eight minutes later.
However, we were fast out the traps after the interval, and regained the lead in the 49th thanks to Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw’s coolly taken effort.
As a result we were putting in the work in a sun kissed Manchester as we aim to finish the season on a high note.
