Manchester City will face Paris Saint-Germain in our second and final pre-season clash in Perth, Australia.

The French side got the better of West Ham United to book their place in the Perth International Cup final against Gareth Taylor‘s side.

Romee Leuchter’s first half strike proved the difference in a keenly-fought contest, meaning City face PSG on Sunday 1 September at the Optus Stadium.

The match is available to watch live on mancity.com and our official app with a CITY+ subscription.

Kick-off is set for 10:10 (UK) / 17:10 AWST as we aim to build on a penalty victory over Leicester City on Wednesday.

New signing Ayaka Yamashita was the shoot-out hero for City, saving two Leicester penalties to allow fellow debutant Vivianne Miedema, who had struck the crossbar during the 90 minutes, to fire home the decisive spot kick.

The current Coupe de France feminine holders, the Parisians finished as runners up in the French top flight across 2023/24, but have boasted the league’s top scorer in five of the past six seasons.

Indeed, the only player to break their monopoly on the Golden Boot was City’s own Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw, who finished as the leading markswoman for Bordeaux in 2020/21 before moving to the Joie Stadium.

We have faced PSG on two previous occasions, both during pre-season ahead of the 2018/19 campaign with City running out 1-0 winners in Portland and 2-1 victors in Miami.
