Manchester City can confirm that the option of a further year in the contract of Filippa Angeldahl has been exercised, with the midfielder now set to remain at the Academy Stadium until June 2024.
The Sweden international, who initially joined the Club in the summer of 2021 from BK Hacken in her homeland, has made 48 appearances in all competitions during her two seasons in Manchester.
Also scoring eight goals so far – including five in 25 outings last term – Angeldahl cemented her position in City’s midfield throughout the 2022/23 campaign.
And following the conclusion of the season, the Club have moved to extend her stay for a further year.
