Manchester City will face Manchester United away in the Subway Women's League Cup quarter-finals.

And if we are to progress into the last-four, we will lock horns with the winner of Brighton v Arsenal.

Due to our participation in the UEFA Women’s Champions League this term, we have entered the competition at the last-eight stage alongside Chelsea and Arsenal.

Marc Skinner’s side, meanwhile, reached the knockout stage after finishing first in Group A after collecting nine points from three matches.

Gareth Taylor’s side travel to our cross-city rivals across 22/23 January 2025 and the semi-finals will take place across 5/6 February 2025.

City have won the competition four times in our illustrious history and the Subway League Cup represented our first major honour after our January 2014 professional relaunch as we beat Arsenal 1-0 in the final in October of the same year.

Our last triumph in the competition was a 3-1 win over Chelsea in March 2022 when goals from Caroline Weir (two) and Ellen White saw us come from behind to prevail.

The Blues have reached the semi-final stage in each of the last two seasons and exited at the last-four stage in 2023/24 following a narrow defeat to Chelsea.
