After a busy summer, which saw a swathe of our stars compete at the Women’s World Cup, Gareth Taylor’s side begin the new Barclays Women’s Super League season with a trip to West Ham this weekend.
The clash on Sunday 1 October at 15:00 (UK) represents a tough opening encounter before we host Chelsea in our first league assignment at the Joie Stadium on Sunday 8 October at 12:30 (UK).
It’s gearing up to be yet another exciting WSL season, but before we kick-off our campaign, City’s players and coaching staff took time away from our intense preparations to capture this season’s official squad photo.
There were plenty of smiles on show and a number of new and returning faces such as summer signing Jill Roord who completed her move to the Club from Wolfsburg in July.
