Among the team was new signing Sam Coffey, taking part in her first training session since joining from Portland Thorns.
The US international has signed on a deal until the summer of 2029 and moves to Manchester with a reputation as one of the finest midfielders in world football.
She immediately got up to speed with her new team-mates in a number of small-sided exercises, with plenty of smiles on show in between the drills.
