Gareth Taylor’s side welcome Matt Beard’s to the Joie Stadium in the Barclays Women’s Super League on Sunday 16 February, with kick-off scheduled for 18:45 (UK).
The Blues enter the fixture buoyed by back-to-back victories which booked our place in the Subway League Cup final and the Adobe Women’s FA Cup quarter-final.
However, we will need to be at our very best to collect three points this weekend against a Liverpool side who have won each of their last three matches in all competitions.
In October’s reverse fixture at Anfield, Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw scored twice – including a dramatic strike in the 92nd minute – to help us to a 2-1 success.
But there was no signs of complacency at the City Football Academy on Wednesday as our meticulous hard work continued.
