The youngster became City’s second signing of the summer when joining from Swiss champions, BSC Young Boys, in June 2025.
Since then, she’s starred at this summer’s European Championships for her home nation, as the hosts qualified for the knockout stages for the first time in their history.
Beney was central to that success, featuring in all four of Switzerland’s matches as both a wing back and a centre forward before defeat to world champions Spain in the quarter-finals.
But the focus is now on making a mark at City, with those who were on international duty this summer gradually returning to the City Football Academy.
Aoba Fujino was another returning star, pictured with fellow Japan team-mate Yui Hasegawa after enjoying a well-earned pre-season rest.
And with just one day to go until Tuesday’s ‘City Are Back’ live training session, the squad were once again put through their paces under the watchful eye of new Head Coach, Andrée Jeglertz.
