Monday afternoon’s draw in Nyon, Switzerland paired Gareth Taylor’s side with the French outfit in the two-legged decider for a place in the group stage.
The Blues will be away in the first leg with the second to be played at home at the Joie Stadium.
It represents City’s return to the prestigious competition for the first time in two years and our eighth time participating in the Champions League since our professional reform in 2014.
Throughout our history in the tournament, we have reached the semi-finals twice and have won 20 of our fixtures on the European stage.
Taylor’s team’s meeting with Paris FC in Round Two qualifying is the final phase before the 16-team group stage is drawn. The top two in each group will then progress into the quarter-finals.
Reigning champions Barcelona are already confirmed for the group stage along with Chelsea, Lyon and Bayern Munich.
They will then be joined by 12 teams who progress from Round Two qualifying from the respective Champions and League paths.
These ties will take place across 18/19 September (first leg) and 25/26 September (second leg) - stay close to mancity.com and our official app for fixture and ticketing updates.
