Fresh from the international break, City face three matches in the space of seven days across December, starting with Sunday’s trip to the midlands.
And Gareth Taylor‘s side will be hoping to pick up where we left off before the latest round of Women’s World Cup qualifiers, with City claiming a deserved 5-0 win over Aston Villa in our last WSL outing.
Our international stars have returned with a spring in their step, helped by Ellen White becoming England’s leading scorer and Lauren Hemp grabbing her first goals for the Lionesses across the break.
But with attentions back on our WSL campaign, training hit a typically high intensity at the City Football Academy as we aim to finish 2021 on a positive note.
